Well, tbf, when Obama created the law to seperate children from their guardians, it was only to be used in cases where abuse or trafficking were believed to be happening and only a handful of children during Obama's reign were ever taken away from their parents and they were all treated well, it seems.

Trump's administration has used that law to justify children being taken away from their parents permanently en masse, and there's been a worrying number of children that have died under border control's watch when there's been no such deaths of children in decades before Trump took the office. Obama's law was meant to be a way to intervene in cases of abuse, Trump has used it to commit wanton abuse against children and their families.

There was a video of one child, a teenager who literally died of the flu, I believe, on the floor of his cell and it honestly haunts me. I think about it often, how, if anyone had checked on him, he could have lived. How if he wasn't separated from his family, he would still be alive.

Blaming Obama and making out that things were the same under his administration is just pure bull****.

While we stan how much she hates Trump, I have to admit that she's an utterly unsympathetic twat that has shown before that she does not actually care about the situation at the border (remember that infamous coat?)
