It's difficult to say whether it's a good choice or not since she's an unknown but I like the character and I hope they do her justice in screen.

One of my least favourite Marvel films, tbh. It just felt dated as hell (and not because it was set in the 90's), and the script was painful (I always cringe when I think about the 'cockpit' line). Few male writers can write feminism well without it feeling like pandering and that film felt like it pandered too much. Of course, this is me speaking as a man so take it how you will. I hope the sequel gets a female writer and director.
