Perhaps I should have worded it differently, but this vote has had the largest voting turnout by a significant amount.
Both Biden and trump have the highest votes in presidency history by a large margin.
I don’t think it is beyond the realms to believe the reason for this is because there has been a 1 month voting window for ballot voting. The ballot votes have been reported to be roughly 70% in Bidens favour and so significantly Democratic Party (which has sealed this election due to how close it has been)
It is not ludicrous to beleive that mail voting being open for 1 month (which allows people who would put it off/not typically bother voting) to vote, it is reasonable to believe 70% of these extra people will therefore be democratic. These votes have been the sway votes, and so I don’t think it’s unreasonable to think this 1 month voting period is solely what has swayed the final decision with it being as close as it has been. It’s come down to the wire and the extra votes from people who may not have voted has probably sealed it
