Well, exactly. I guess like I said before, there are two separate debates: Is Boris isolating theoretically necessary and is Boris isolating what he should be doing right now. Though only the first question is a debate - the second one CURRENTLY has a clear answer, which is yes, 'cos that's what the rules say and I think we've all had out fill of politicians "bending" the rules... and they certainly know that.

I sort of think, if they do change it so that vaccinated people no longer need to isolate on contact, government officials should really be some of the first to get the jab to avoid these situations. I'd be interested to see if that actually happens, though. Can see them wanting it more thoroughly tested on the proletariat first .
