That honestly plays as the mind of someone who's uh... not well. I know everyone hates him (and with reason) but I honestly think this is more of a plea for help rather than making light of suicide. I won't pretend to understand what goes through his mind but my take is someone who's deeply insecure going "you'd all feel bad if I kill myself... right??? right???" as some kind of unhinged need for validation?
