While Stamos and Van Dyke have never worked together on the big or small screen, they do share a role on the Broadway stage.

Van Dyke originated the role of Albert Pearson, the central character in the original Broadway production of Bye Bye Birdie in 1960.

Nearly 50 years later, the play was given a revival, with Stamos portraying the iconic role of Albert Pearson.

Van Dyke still continues to work fairly regularly, coming off playing Mr. Dawes Jr. in Disney's Mary Poppins Returns and guest starring on Hopscotch.

Stamos returned as Uncle Jesse in the Netflix series Fuller House, bringing back the cast of the original 1980s hit series Full House.

His next role was announced last week at Disney Investor Day, playing basketball coach Marvyn Korn in the new series Big Shot, debuting next year on Disney Plus.
