Large gatherings of people attract an unsavoury element that take advantage of a situation. No matter what the cause or occasion, they'll always show up.



To give a terrible analogy, do the pickpockets at Glastonbury have anything to do with the official event organisers? We'd all agree, no but they still show up every year. I think I'd add to your post, the many attempts to associate the violence directly with BLM is equally disingenuous. As you point out, in many cases it was the actions of the authorities that caused many of the problems.
