Honestly people will think this sounds minor but it's ****ing miserable. I have a sinus issue that means I lose my sense of taste every time I get a cold - it's actually one of the first symptoms (I eat something and it tastes like cardboard, and I know that I'll wake up the next day feeling crap)...

... it's awful. Eating at all becomes just a chore, my wife has to encourage me to have my dinner at all because I just can't be arsed sitting feeling like I'm chewing on air for half an hour. I get really frustrated after 2 or 3 days of it and the longest it ever lasts is about 5 days... I honestly can't imagine it for months on end.
