The fact that some on here are calling those on universal credit slobs who are claiming benefits but can work...clearly have no clue what UNIVERSAL credit is!

It isnt just a job seekers allowance!

It is for those on lower income, those who need help with housing costs and child tax etc

I get universal credit and Im not going to be accused of being lazy when i work from 6 in the morning til 4 in the afternoon! The reason we are entitled is because we have 3 kids and my wife is a full time mum who cant work at the moment due to our youngest only being 10 months. When he is 2 she is to return to work and probably our universal credit will stop

Im not bothered if they put it up or not as its a reasonable amount anyway. As long as they dont make cuts and deductions

There are some properly ignorant arseholes on here
