Its such a stupid situation, the franchise doesn't exist without Kojima weirdness... I'd be very, very surprised if they ever manage to release a well-reviewed Metal Gear game on their own. So why hold onto it? Surely there'd be more profit in just selling the IP.
Personally I loved Death Stranding... but I'd be so hyped for a full Kojima-lead MGS6
