Now I'm absolutely not saying that he "deserves" to die or that his family won't miss him when he's gone but, let's be realistic in terms of human lifespan, any Christmas you live to see past 80 is a bonus round and an extra two decades is pretty good going.
I don't mean to sound callous but I do sometimes think we have a weird relationship with death in the west (in terms of struggling to accept it as part of life). Really any death from "old age" should be appreciated for what it is. Sadly, many people don't get close to a full life. |
Yeah like I said he's nearly 100 , most people don't even make it past 90 .
