Oh no, I understand victims often do not report at the time and stuff. BUT, it seemed like it was reported and seemingly ignored also given its rearing its head now, years later.
So yeah, certainly not blaming the alleged victims here. Of course the 'powerful people' stuff would put off many from making a complaint. But...they did complain at the time, so the issue clearly was not that they feared the royals or anything.
Genuinely wouldn't be surprised though if it turns out proven. Its just...the royals response, of brushing it under the carpet instead of doing an investigation a the time,. then throwing it out there years later, for whatever reason. An investigation that should have been done ages back..if now simply being used as leverage to me..
