It's satire, but it's a good example of how media spin things to push a certain narrative and how the public come to accept that narrative as the truth.

Meghan was complimentary to the queen, she humanised her in a way that we rarely see with that cute little story about how they shared a blanket on an engagement and how, despite the Media's involvement, the queen still talks to Harry on most days to check in. Yet, the media and the people will go on about how Meghan's disrespected the queen and opposes the royal family despite statements to the contrary. There's nothing to that narrative, the statements contradict it, yet people will believe it because it's what they want to believe and the media will gladly serve it up for clicks.
