In France we kiss on the cheek...a lot. And it depends on the regions: either 2 (my region), 3 or 4 kisses on the cheek. All my British friends, in-laws etc have always been surprised to say the least (especially cheek kisses between men)
I tend to think I did it even when it wasn't necessary so I'm not eager to have it all back. There's a whole discussion about in France
Because obviously this is the biggest issue we're facing at the minute. I will do it when I feel like it.
