Anyway I'm not sure how the Star's idea would work - can we expect people to be okay with giving up a fifth of their wages? Or should businesses give them a paid day off a week?
When it comes to big business bloated corporatiins I'm all for the latter
maybe a compromise could be making the paid day off tax-deductible when it comes to employees whose coming in carries a carbon footprint.
