Pretty good these days at cooking the right amount, and the kids are less fussy as they get older so pretty much clear their plates.
The one thing I am still guilty of is occasionally not being vigilant enough with checking dates at the supermarket, so we get stuff for the week on a Monday and then I go to make something on say Thursday and find out it’s already out of date

Or if I’ve been foolish and gone to Aldi and you open a pack of chicken that still has 4 days before expiry and yet you pierce the pack only to be hit with the stench of rotting flesh. Bin.
