it is going to be problematic. The issue seems to be causing confusion because, my motherboard doesnt have a tpm 2 ... however, my processor has a firmware version of tpm 2 and on intel that is satisfied by enabling PTT on amd chips its called AMD fTPM configuration. Again enabling that should do the trick.
I wasn't given any warnings about deleting data, and i think it would only be a problem if you were already encrypting data on a drive because this will effectively replace a software based key with a hardware version, making existing data unreadable
