I mean… it’s retail. Entry level retail is pretty much universally awful. If you think you can impress and get management training then it’s fine, if you’re only in it (like many younger people) for the short term then it’s also fine, but you definitely don’t want to get stuck on the bottom rung of retail for more than a couple of years.

Honestly I’ve been quite vocal here plenty that I wasn’t happy in retail management either, it was not the work environment for me at all, BUT at least in management you have a voice and can stand up for yourself to an extent, entry level is so cucky and frustrating BLEH. I didn’t like it in my early 20’s - I flat out couldn’t do it now. I’d snap back and get fired .
