The most I’ve actually paid was £160 a night for 2 nights when we were at an awards thing in London.
However the nicest room I’ve stayed in was a £350 room at a boutique hotel, but we were at a wedding being held in the hotel and the grooms paid a bulk deal for rooms for guests so we only actually paid £120. The room was amazing - the bed was MASSIVE and it had the most epic monsoon shower
. The bathroom was so posh that the toilet was in its own little enclosed cubicle, so that you didn’t have to think about dirty things like poop whilst having a nice shower or bath (it also had a huge deep bath but sadly I didn’t have time to test that).
