Every person has the right to a fair trial and is considered innocent until proven guilty. The courts have a duty of care to protect the accused until then.
Don't get me wrong, if he is guilty he deserves all he gets and more but there has to be a fair trial....the victims deserve that far more than he does.
It is a double edged sword as the finger of suspicion also points at other, innocent people so it would be easier if the.media DID name him as we have already had one player who has been wrongly named on social media and that kind of accusation can ruin lives.
As it is though, our media cannot break the law.
