With the release of a new song, Peter Maffay (71) has announced his next album. The single “Each end will be a beginning” catches the eye with its acoustic guitar and reduced instrumentation. The corresponding album, “So far”, is due for release on September 10, as Sony Music announced on Tuesday in Berlin. It is a work in the style of the singer-songwriter, the compositions came from Maffay himself, so the lyrics were written by Johannes Oerding and Benni Dernhoff, two of whom had the German rocker’s partner who knows success for 50 years.
