It's bound to have had an effect though. I saw a program on britney and her mum was very pushy. She even decided which boyfriends she could and couldn't see!! Also, being such a big star at such a young age kind of robbed her of a proper childhood.

How many child stars end up in rehab?! It seems pretty common. I think it messes them up being so big at a young age.

She was always controlled by her mum and the press. It was only a matter of time before she decided to rebel and judging by the extent of how far it's gone, I'd say they must have been pretty controlling!

I've not got lots of sympathy for her though. If she didn't have kids I would have a lot more. She needs to take responsibility and put her issues aside for her kids sake. She's a millionaire, she should be living it up, not wasting away on a mental ward!
