The rest of what? She had described exactly what happened! The narrative is that he "did it to make sure he really likes her" and it's a total mess. I've seen people say on Twitter (and I agree) that the girls on Love Island need to nip this "test" narrative in the bud before it spreads and enters mainstream dating for young people... because things from Love Island have a habit of doing that. Loads of young people will be cheating and justifying it as "a test and actually a good thing".
Hugo tried his best to counter the idea but he wasn't comfortable with the fallout so now he's staying quiet. You can see on his face that he still doesn't like the whole "testing ourselves" thing but he just stays totally silent now.
