Default 3 possible scenario's for JESC2021

Scenario A
Under this scenario, the contest would take place with no restrictions for the contestants, delegations, press or audience. The last contest to be held under these conditions was in 2019.
---------------------------------------------------
Scenario B
This scenario would be similar to the scenario used for Eurovision 2021. Social distancing and other sanitary measures would be in place for anyone attending the contest. All participants would have to record a “Live on Tape” performance in their home countries, in case someone in a delegation is infected with Covid-19 during their stay in Paris. A maximum audience of 3,500 people would be allowed at both the jury show and the live show by the organisers but the exact number would be subject to the number of infections at the time of the show. In order to gain access to the venue, a proof of a recent negative Covid test (no longer than 48 hours before entrance) would be required. The press centre would comprise of a physical part in Paris and an online part.
-------------------------------------------------
Scenario C
This scenario is similar is similar to Scenario B except that travel restrictions would be in effect for certain delegations. For those delegations unable to travel to Paris, their “Live on Tape” performances would be used as their official performances, similar to Australia in Eurovision 2021.
------------------------------------------------------------

and a last resort Scenario D, the scenario in which Junior Eurovision 2020 was organised, which would see all delegations stay at home, is likely to be discarded after the successful organisation of Eurovision 2021 and low rate of positive tests during the contest. However, the scenarios may change due to the evolving nature of the pandemic. A final decision on which scenario would be used is expected to be taken in September. The EBU will also announce the full list of participating countries within the next few weeks.
