Well he isnt the only one I suppose. Paul MCartney looked ridiculous with his dyed hair. I think some people can get away with it...but your mother is right your skin does get pale and people with dark hair should lighten their hair or grey naturally.
I think Tom Cruise would look great with a bit of grey...there is something very alluring about a handsome man with the maturing look...
