If there was a deadly pandemic, I'd expect people dropping dead in the streets and trucks going around to pick up the dead bodies. The homeless for one I would assume would be very vulnerable.

I've heard of one person I know who is said to have died because of Covid, but he was a very big lad, very overweight, still sad because I grew up with him. My best mate is the only other person I know who claims they had Covid, he said it was horrendous, and he couldn't eat for 4 days, but he didn't go to hospital or even to see his doctor, he just rode it out and it passed. Sounds similar to having the flu.

I don't deny there's a virus, that could well be true, I just 'haven't noticed it being a deadly Pandemic. Not enough to give up our freedoms for.

Once you give up your freedoms, they ain't easy to get back.
I find this one tough to wrestle out in my head in all honesty. I do "believe in the virus" and how serious it is, there is abundant evidence that it's much more of a problem than flu, etc. but believe it or not, I do largely agree with the bit in bold.

I could also be convinced, not that the whole thing is a scam or lie, BUT that there are people in various positions of power who will happily use an emergency situation for their own purposes and to pursue an agenda ... and with Covid, it can occasionally feel like the world is being "litmus tested" to see what will and won't be accepted.
