They’ll make you ask ten times then forcefully insist before they’d actually cancel, they have entire departments devoted to retaining customers who are trying to leave… you definitely can’t leave by accident.
All companies are like this these days. Best one I’ve had recently was when I switched energy supplier - the previous one sent me a text saying “We’ll give you £100 if you stay”. Literally just bribing people at this point
