now, there seems to be a misunderstanding some places online (and actually in some press) that they went missing at the same time. He came back to his parents house alone, wouldn't answer any questions about where she was, by the time her body was found he was mysteriously "missing".
Honestly though I think there's a chance he's thrown himself off a cliff somewhere.
