I haven’t been on public transport for 5+ years but when I did used to get the bus to work, other random passengers trying to make smalltalk was the only thing I really hated. I always put in earphones and listened to music so that they wouldn’t. Sometimes if I wasn’t in the mood for music, I’d just put the earphones in anyway so that I could pretend not to be able to hear people
