We finished this last night too (watched three episodes yesterday - the other two during a 2 hour "lunch break" when we were both meant to be WFH ). Dodgy acting from the English-voiced characters aside, it was excellent start to finish. I called one or two of the twists but that's because I watch too much telly . Massive rule of television and movies - "no body no death" so;

Spoiler:

I knew 001 wasn't dead because they panned away from his death, on a show that has no issues showing violence. And then when the "frontman" mentioned that "the host" wasn't joining them it was fairly obvious that the host was 001. Following the same rule - I expect the detective will be back in S2, because whilst surviving that fall seems unlikely, if they weren't planning a return he'd have been shot in the head not the shoulder.

The other one I called early was The Frontman being the detective's missing brother, which I think became genuinely obvious fairly quickly, but as soon as the detective got there I was saying "I bet his brother is on the staff, not a contestant/dead".

But yeah - very compelling viewing.

Although one other thing...

Spoiler:

That red hair at the end is inexplicable. I know it's meant to be symbolic but he looks ridiculous and I nearly drowned on my hot chocolate. He looks like a teacher my daughter had years ago ... a woman in her mid 50's.
