Default Leeds Bakery used illegal spinkles :Trading Standards

[Get Baked in Leeds told to stop selling
any products with imported US toppings
Law inherited from the EU after
Brexit bans E127, which is
linked to hyperactivity
Bakery can no longer use the
sprinkles on cakes and cookies following complaint]

[The food additive E127 is listed as
an ingredient on CakeMate rainbow
sprinkles under its alternative name of 'Red 3']

[Trading Standards said the E127 food colouring,
also know as Erythrosine, is only approved for
use in the UK and EU in cocktail cherries and candied cherries.
The ingredient has been linked to problems with hyperactivity
in children and effects on their mood and behaviour.
