Of course they are. They have been contracted to make more. Does it make the films better in any way? Of course not.
Rambo has crappy sequels. Mission impossible had crappy sequels. Die hard hard crappy sequels. The difference their is that the original movies kicked arse. But the real point is that having sequels does not nessacerily indicate quality , more it indicates a studios firm belief that people really are willing to fork out even more money to see crap.
