Bit odd that she had to be off for 3 days as When my kids have had to have PCR tests, the results have been back in under 24 hours.

The article is very dramatic about the “scare!” - both of my kids (and most of their friends) have had various coughs and colds during Covid times and needed PCR tests. It’s pretty routine these days, nothing scary about it.
