Yes although it's a unique one - you can't divide by zero and this doesn't apply to ANY other number, no matter how far into infinity you go beyond zero in either direction. So it doesn't function like any other number in maths. It still is one though - it has to be a whole number, because if it isn't there's no integer between -1 and 1 and then maths is ****ed .
