Like I said nobody is talking about the actual Oscars, they're more focused on will Smith's outburst. Which is why I initially thought this was some publicity stunt , now I think it's real.
But this year's Oscars will be remembered for a silly joke that Chris Rock made, and Will Smith slapping him on stage.

Outburst? That was physical assault from my vantage point.
If you or I had have walked up to a TV show host on a live broadcast and slapped them in the face, we would have been taken to the floor and handcuffed immediately. Mr Smith just casually went about is business and picked up an award as though nothing had just happened.
We wouldn't have been partying afterwards like Mr Smith was either. We'd have been locked up in a jail cell.
