A guy had to come to your house and do something to the TV and then they'd put a sticker on the side saying it was "channel 5 ready"! Crazy times. I remember him coming to our house, and also my aunt not having Channel 5 for ages because she didn't trust them tampering with her telly
. I don't think she had it until she bought a new TV that was already Channel 5 certified.
