she decided to change the song because i am what i am is what everyone can relate to, self-love, pro-acceptance songs are still very much needed in this world with lots of negativity, cancel culture, wars/conflicts


good choice i think, compared to the likes of a Israel and Australia sadly whom i can see struggle with the public failing to connect with their songs
