I also agree with Parmy that there's been absolutely no indication, in any of the trial evidence, or during the trial itself, that he's "afraid of Amber Heard". Yes I think he got sick of their by-all-accounts bat**** crazy relationship and was the one to walk away but I think that's because he got old and tired (of the violence, of the binges, etc.)... not because he was afraid. Even in the audio he sounds tired - not scared.
