I paid my CT bill in 2021 outright (have done this a few times over the last 7 or 8 years, it's always great to have it out the way but a system shock to go back to paying monthly
) so I didn't have an active direct debit when the £150 was issued - so they just took it straight off my CT bill
. Didn't get the choice. Swings and roundabouts though, doesn't really matter which bill it comes off I guess.
