Love Island Liam also has famous dad as link to rugby legend is unveiled

Liam's dad has been revealed as Welsh rugby star David Llewellyn, or Dai as he's known to friends.

David is a former Wales International Rugby Union player and now trains professional athletes, including boxing champion Joe Cordina.




David, 51, played for Ebbw Vale, Newport and Neath and was part of the Wales team for the 1999 World Cup where he scored a try.

He won four caps for Wales between 1998 and 1999 and played in the last Five Nations tournament.

David now keeps up his fitness by working as a personal trainer at Fitness First Cardiff East.

Liam is a Masters Student of strength and conditioning. His dad shared a sweet snap attending Liam's bachelor's graduation back in April, after he graduated from Cardiff Metropolitan University.

Posting a picture of the pair on Instagram, David said: "My son's graduation. So proud of you Liam my boy xxx."

His dad has also been supporting his son's Love Island journey on social media, sharing pictures of Liam on the show.



He captioned one post: "My boy. So proud of you son... love you. Go nail it!!"
