This is all without going into dimensions... we're 4-dimensional beings (length, breadth, height, time) but we know there are at least 5 dimensions, and theories that there are in fact nine dimensions. We can sort of conceptualise 5 and have weird theories about 6. Beyond that, the theory goes, you wouldn't even be able to imagine what is entailed in these dimensions, unless you're "the one below". i.e. we fully understand and can observe 4 dimensions and can conceptualise 5. A 6th-dimesional being would be able to fully understand and observe 6 dimensions (their own and all the ones lower) and conceptualise a 7th. etc.

But the basics are, it's science we not only don't know about, but would be physically incapable of comprehending.

And people seek to explain existence in terms of anthropomorphised deities in the sky.
