Goes to show - of you're going to ask commuters to rely on public transport, by the same method which is used to transport supplies for supermarkets ... You'd better make sure you don't piss off the staff

That said, train driving is almost automated these days. When the average train driver salary is like £50k, it might seem a bit tone-deaf to whine so much when their strikes will largely be affecting people on crap money and pointless unfulfilling jobs. There won't be a lot of support for almost a week's worth of strikes, and they're just asking for more automation.
