It should shock me, but it doesn't. So much for legislation put in place following serious case file reviews.
So many families and children are being failed by the system.
There just isn't the resources and support to deal with the amount of issues.
Concerns are raised and not acted upon which is really frustrating and worrying.
I don't understand how it has been missed by both the council and the police. He should have gone on barring and specifically working with children...it should have been on a DBS enhanced disclosure
Significant opportunities continue to get missed and will carry on getting missed though because local authorities are ridiculously under staffed.
