Erm, it does focus quite heavily on the romance between the 2 main characters, the 3rd act focuses more on the Titanic disaster side, which in itself is very impressive for the time, some very good special effects. It has a long run time but it doesn't really drag. The romance, if a bit ott, is quite sweet at times. Billy Zane's snobbish rich villianous character is excellent too. I would certainly recommend giving it a go.

Yeah I'm not the biggest Romance fan when it's in large doses, but I am always up for a surprise hit if it can happen.
