A lot of people don't really get conceptual/installation art, and just think it's a bit weird that I clingfilmed everything...
Can you explain the whole thing about conceptual art to me, as I dont really know much about it.

Is it like when you can think of a concept behind it, or their is a concept behind it, or their is no concept behind it?
For the record, I'm not actually a conceptual artist, this was just a conceptual art project.

Conceptual art is art where the concept behind it takes precedence over the actually final product. It's used to make a point, or show emotion or thoughts, which really I think is what art should be about.
Ooh i never knew that, thats quite interesting, do you think our schools will make us do anything like that for GCSE art? x

I think you can do it for GCSE art - I was advised not to due to it being harder to show how you got to it in your pre-final project planning sheets...
Oh i know what you mean, true but i think i might have a go at home.. ive always wondered what it was and now i know it sounds quite interesting! x
