Mhm, I feel you on a spiritual level with that one. Younger people (under-34s/35s,, as a broad rule) make good enough buddies to me (not least because I’m in that age bracket myself regardless of anything else) and everyone has their own unparalleled level of maturity in at least something to specific to them but generally I just feel like the older they are the deeper the conversations go so that’s just kind of how it is. Most of the bad experiences I’ve had in my life have been with obnoxious young people than anyone else. With people over a certain age there’s almost always this mutual level of respect that comes almost automatically.
