Whether you enjoy/support women's football or not, the idea that you MUST NOW change your rhetoric(which wasn't offensive BEFORE the women's game has started being rammed down throats..) is quite simply RIDICULOUS. It's like if you've been listening to certain genre of music for years..and one day someone fronts you and says they don't like it..they're "offended" by it. "Please stop playing that", they say. "Change the record", they say. What would your response be if some silly bastard tried that shyte on you??
The sooner women(and the simps who follow them) stop trying to act like they're riding sideBYside with the male game - trying to prop their version up in such a desperate and artificial manner, the sooner their version can progress authentically in its own right.

The women's game will never be level until the Blues team is allowed back up to the WSL.
Seriously though I agree with you that Souness has always had a certain demeanor, I honestly don't think that he was intending to offend women with his comments.
But I don't know the guy personally tbf, maybe he is a misogynist and his playing me for a fool, but I'm gonna try to trust a Celebrity for once and say that he made a comment without thinking.
