More than a thousand children in Telford were sexually exploited over decades
amid the failure of authorities to investigate “emboldened offenders”, an
independent inquiry into the scandal has concluded.
The three-year independent inquiry into child sexual exploitation (IICSE)
found that abuse was allowed to continue for years and children, rather than
perpetrators, were often blamed.
