No, they aren't similar situations at all.
Charles was asked a question and he told the truth. He wasn't being vindictive and didn't tell a lot of untruths like they (especially Meghan) did to discredit the Royal family in the Oprah interview and continue to make digs and attention seek ever since.
Meghan threatened very recently that she could reveal more if she so chooses as she didn't have to sign a NDA. Absolutely disgusting.
If they carry on with more of the same, and Harry goes ahead with the book, then it won't be left in the past, it's
current, and it's going to be reported. The ball is entirely in their court now.
