Saaaaake, yet another episode where basically nothing happens. The plot basically meandered at a standstill, there was no particular character development...
All this one
actually achieved was the discovery of more Mithril, and the SHOCKING REVEALATION that the Southlands are now Mordor. Both of which could have fitted into last episode, at the expense of the awful stretched out dialogue.
I mean, I get the writers are trying to sound Shakespearean, and fit the dialogue to poetic rhythm, but... they suck at it
Side note, the sexy evil elf is more likeable than any of the so-called protagonists. His motivation is he wants to give "his children" a home.
Galadriel's motivation? She wants to torture him, keep him alive and taunt him with the deaths of all "his children", before finally slaying him... that's not heroic, that's evil.
And worse, that's not Galadriel. The actual Galadriel would either slay him on the spot, or imprisoned him. When Gollum was in the custody of the Wood Elves, he was treated very kindly indeed. So it might even help him to repent, and tell her things which would help...
